The Platform Statistics for the varied versions of Android for the month of February 2014 have just ushered in. Although these statistics take into account only those devices that have visited the Play Store, this data should indeed prove to be of extreme significance to developers looking to target a specific audience.
Compared to the previous month's statistics, Froyo still continues to exist at a tamely 1.3%. Gingerbread declined slightly from 21.2% to 20% this month. Honeycomb won't vanish and has a 0.1% share. On the other side, Kitkat saw a slight increase from 1.4% to 1.8%.
