BBM Update - New Find Friends Feature

Blackberry has launched a new tool 'Find Friends' in an update to Blackberry Messenger. This seems another desperate bid by the Canadian firm to shift focus to the BBM. The tool, when used, scans a user's contact list to identify those who are already using BBM. It then allows the user to directly send a PIN or invite a friend through SMS.
Blackberry had recently rolled out BBM for Android and iOS, in a bid to regain market share. Reports also suggested that Blackberry is soon expected to launch BBM V2.0.
