Rooting - Motorola Moto G

The Motorola G has just been launched in India exclusive on Flipkart. Despite just being launched, it is already possible to root the phone, thanks to some swift and advanced developers. Users can now tweak and customize their phone as per their likes.
Warning
Please make sure that you know what you're doing. This procedure, if not done as per the prescribed steps, could brick your phone.

Pre-requisites
1) Your phone should have atleast 80% of battery. Please ensure this as low battery charge could cause the device to turn off during the procedure causing permanent damage.
2) Your phone's bootloader must be unlocked. Click here to unlock your Moto G's bootloader.

Tutorial
  1. Download the Root file by clicking here and extract the directory.
  2. Reboot your device in bootloader mode. (Turn off your phone and then press Volume Down button)
  3. WINDOWS - run 'superboot-windows.bat' as Administrator 
  4. MAC - Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x superboot-mac.sh' followed by 'sudo ./superboot-mac.sh' 
  5. LINUX - Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x superboot-linux.sh' followed by 'sudo ./superboot-linux.sh'
  6. You've now successfully rooted your Motorola Moto G.

Moto G Exclusively Available on Flipkart

The Motorola Moto G has finally been launched in India. The phone will be available starting midnight, February 6th, 2013 exclusively on Flipkart, an Indian online shopping store. The phone is currently not in stock, but we expect the phone to be available soon.
The phone has been priced reasonably and surely comes as a good news to prospective buyers. The 8 GB model of the phone will be available for Rs. 12,499, whereas the 16 GB model will be available for Rs. 13,999. The phone ships with Android 4.3, alongwith guaranteed update promised. The phone has dual sim slot unlike the one sold in the USA. The screen features a 720 x 1280 pixels 4.5 inches LCD capacitive touchscreen. The camera is a 5 MP shooter couple with video recording at 720P. The phone also features a secondary camera possessing 1.3 MP. A quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU ensures a fluid experience for the user and a 2070 mAh battery provides adequates juice to power it on.
