Rooting - Motorola Moto G

The Motorola G has just been launched in India exclusive on Flipkart. Despite just being launched, it is already possible to root the phone, thanks to some swift and advanced developers. Users can now tweak and customize their phone as per their likes.
Warning
Please make sure that you know what you're doing. This procedure, if not done as per the prescribed steps, could brick your phone.

Pre-requisites
1) Your phone should have atleast 80% of battery. Please ensure this as low battery charge could cause the device to turn off during the procedure causing permanent damage.
2) Your phone's bootloader must be unlocked. Click here to unlock your Moto G's bootloader.

Tutorial
  1. Download the Root file by clicking here and extract the directory.
  2. Reboot your device in bootloader mode. (Turn off your phone and then press Volume Down button)
  3. WINDOWS - run 'superboot-windows.bat' as Administrator 
  4. MAC - Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x superboot-mac.sh' followed by 'sudo ./superboot-mac.sh' 
  5. LINUX - Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x superboot-linux.sh' followed by 'sudo ./superboot-linux.sh'
  6. You've now successfully rooted your Motorola Moto G.
